Gli ascensori sono progettati e realizzati per durare nel tempo, questo è vero, ma dopo decenni di onorato servizio può essere necessario qualche intervento di ammodernamento. A fine settembre 2021 sono state pubblicate le versioni aggiornate delle norme UNI 10411-1 e 2. È emersa da più parti la necessità di spiegarne le novità rispetto all’edizione precedente.
