Ne abbia- mo parlato con un illustre esperto, Do- menico De Masi, professore emerito di Sociologia del lavoro della “Sapienza” di Roma. Professore, poteva in qualche modo essere previsto quanto è accaduto negli scorsi mesi? Oppure si è trat- tato di un fenomeno imprevedibile? I sociologi sono stati sempre molto chiari nello spiegare quello che ci at- tende. Ecco, ad esempio Dominique Belpomme - esperto mondiale di sa- lute ambientale - più di dieci anni fa aveva scritto: “Ci sono cinque scenari possibili sulla scomparsa dell’umanità: t he coronavirus pande- mic has drastically disrupted many aspects of everyday life, starting with our professions. We di- scussed this with a renowned pundit, Domenico De Masi, professor emeri- tus of Sociology of Work at “Sapienza” University of Rome. Professor, could we have predicted the events of the past months? Or was this an unpredictable phenomenon? Sociologists have always been very clear in explaining what lies ahead.
