ANACAM MAGAZINE - n. 4 ottobre | dicembre 2022

In love with his work – continues Pierluigi – he was able to convey this passion of his to all the people around him. He was a role model for the employees and an esteemed and appreciated professional. We had proof of this during the funeral because even people who had not seen him for many years, clearly had fond memories of him when they came to say their last goodbyes.” “Anacam was also a family. He always told me that the experience in the Association made him grow as a person. Anacam was essential to keep up with the times, to always be up to date in the techno-regulatory field. He was convinced that small companies should be helped and supported. He didn’t see the other lift operators as competitors but as colleagues, which is why he believed they should support each other.” Bruno Vergati was a warm man, a farsighted entrepreneur but also a great friend. “A friend and colleague is forever. And that is what Bruno still is, for me and all my colleagues in the association. I’m sure – said Elio Defusto – that wherever he is, he will be worrying about where we will hold the next general Assembly so that we can get together with our families. Even if in the days that await, he will no longer be visible to our eyes while planning ahead, in some way he will still be by our side. We will all continue to smile and do what we did before with the same enthusiasm but I can’t help but admit that we will miss him. His jokes, his thoughts, his words of comfort, his nice stories, his improvisations and even the quarrels during the years of the Presidency will be missed. Thank you, Bruno, for the beautiful and constructive things you have left us, we will do our best to continue.” “With Bruno Vergati – said Dino Rolla – I met a colleague and said goodbye to a friend. As an entrepreneur, the facts speak more than anyone’s words. Only armed with personal skills and a lot of commitment, both his and his wife’s, he created an important lift company, one of the largest in the North East. In his private life Bruno was a nice, cheerful and generous man, always available for others. I had the honour and the pleasure of being by his side during the important moments of his life over the past twenty years. Although his work commitments were very demanding, he found the time and enthusiasm to devote himself to Anacam. In a particularly testing time, he became President with the words ‘I will be everybody’s president”, giving life to a new course for the association. In the evening, after his funeral, the family invited me to stay for dinner. Coordinated and industrious as a colony of ants, in just a few minutes, what had been Bruno’s funeral home was transformed into a welcoming living room with sofas, rugs and furniture all in their place with a perfectly laid large table at the centre. There were sixteen of us, the atmosphere was serene, that serenity that is typical of those who have fulfilled their obligations appropriately. Only Bruno was missing, but in my heart, I felt he was happy and proud of that family which is perhaps his greatest success”. ricordo d i T L P
