18 dati alla mano di TLP objects produced directly by manufacturers, requests on which the opinion of over 80% of the sample converges. While BIM continues to grow in popularity among professionals in the construction supply chain, the figure for 2021 shows a decline in the number of public BIM tenders (-4.6%) and in the amount (-49.4%) compared to the previous year. This figure emerges from the “Report on BIM 2021 tenders and digitalisation”4, drawn up by OICE, the Italian national association, member of Confindustria, which represents Italian engineering, architecture, and technical-economic consultancy organisations. After the surge in 2018 and 2019, and the acceleration of digitalisation and of the use of BIM in 2020 as a result of the pandemic, there is therefore a slowdown, although the trend line still shows a slight upward trend. According to OICE experts, this would be a typical phase characterising the introduction of a new technology and methodology on the market. In 2021, only 534 BIM announcements were published, representing 9.0% of the total number of all calls for announcements for Engineering and Architectural Services (it. Servizi di Ingegneria e Architettura - S.A.I.), with a value of €360 million, which represents 16.9% of the total amount of announcements issued for these services. A positive note is the increase in the number of informative terms of contract attached to the announcement specifications, which are essential documents for the proper introduction of electronic modelling. There is also a significant increase in the reference in tender documents to figures such as certified BIM Managers and BIM Coordinators, even though these references in 2021 appear both at the tender admission stage and, in some cases, at the tender examination stage. This confirms - and it is likely that, in light of the new provisions of the Recovery decree and Ministerial Decree 312/2021, this figure will increase in 2022 - how the use of BIM has a particular importance as an element of bonus attributed to the bidder in the context of the use of the award criterion of the economically most advantageous tender for the awarding of engineering and architecture services of an amount equal to or greater than 40,000 euro. te dai produttori sempre più ampiamente disponibili sul mercato, e oggetti BIM completi e dettagliati realizzati direttamente dai produttori, richieste su cui converge l’opinione di oltre l’80% del campione. 1 https://www.digipara.com/are-you-ready-for-bim-bimand-the-elevator-industry/ https://elevatorworld.com/article/bim-up-your-elevator/ 2 https://www.acif.com.au/documents/item/651 3 https://www.assobim.it/bim-report-2021/ 4 https://www.oice.it/740701/2022-oice-5-rapporto-garebim-2021
