Per ulteriori informazioni http://www.viciniporte.it/ THE hinged doors are still widely used in the Italian lift installations, and not only, mainly for modernisation and/or for new lifting platforms, the socalled Home Lift. The hinged doors have often been subject to automation with the application of an external motor to compensate for the difficulties to enter and exit the car for people with limited mobility. For more than a decade, the double hinged door model with internal door drive has been available on the market, which has been particularly popular since the 110%, 75% and 50% tax deductions were introduced in the Italian legislation. The double hinged solution allows the construction of lifts, whether new or refurbished, in very tight spaces compared to the standard solution with automatic side sliding doors. This door model can be made with or without standard vision panel, with panoramic doors or glass panels. The side frame has a standard thickness of 51 mm, while the top lintel has two different heights (250 or 300 mm) and two different thicknesses (100 or 150 mm); these two different dimensions are due to the use of two different door drive. For doors on the ground floor (floor ‘0’), a more high-performance door drive must be used, as this floor is certainly the one most used, so performing more movements than the others. The automatic double hinged can be fitted with electro-mechanical locks (standard) or electronic locks (electro-actuated); with this last solution, the space needed in the well can be even less.
