QUALI DIFFICOLTÀ AVETE RISCONTRATO DURANTE L’ESAME? Martina Rossi: Nonostante la mia esperienza in azienda, per superare l’esame è stato fondamentale dedicarmi allo thus bringing it back under our complete control. Today, I am involved in sales and maintenance, and my business is mainly on construction sites. WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO TAKE OUT THE LIFT LICENCE? Martina Rossi: To carry out maintenance on installations, a licence is necessary, so I decided to take it so that I could work independently. Raffaella Giuli: I had wanted to get the licence for a long time, my father had also suggested it to me. However, I always put it off because with the family and young children it was complicated, and then my husband, who is a licensed technician, took over as technical director after my father passed away. But now the time has come for this new challenge. I decided to take the licence also because having a more comprehensive training allows me to have more credibility with customers and employees. In fact, direct experience gives a clearer understanding of when and how to work. In addition, I wanted to show my children in particular and my employee, who is my age and thought he was too old to study, that with commitment you can achieve anything. In the end, we both passed the exam. WHAT WAS IT LIKE TO ATTEND THE COURSE AND HOW WERE YOU RECEIVED BY THE OTHER PARTICIPANTS? Martina Rossi: The course was interesting and challenging, and the engineer who followed us turned out to be an excellent teacher. The colleagues were kind and helpful: there were no problems, in fact I felt supported. I think I can speak for both of us in thanking Elio for the excellent organisation. Raffaella Giuli: For me too, the course was well structured, and the lecturer proved to be very competent. At first I thought I would find more prejudice, but my colleagues were very helpful after an initial curiosity. One of them, upon resuming class after the theoretical exam, confessed to me that he had checked the list of promoted students to see if I had made it: it made me smile! I would also like to thank Elio for encouraging me to take the licence exam. I must thank my husband who supported me not only emotionally but also concretely, helping me to overcome every doubt and difficulty along the way. WHAT DIFFICULTIES DID YOU ENCOUNTER DURING THE EXAM? Martina Rossi: Despite my experience in the company, it was crucial for me to study hard to pass the exam. I admit that the idea of having to speak in front of the board caused me some anxiety, but I was able to manage it and pass the exam successfully. Raffaella Giuli: My weak point has always been electrical diagrams, which is also why I have never felt ready to take the exam so far. Thanks to the help of the engineer and my colleagues, however, I managed to understand the basic ABILITAZIONE DI TITTI LO PAPA
