51 of the car and fix it in place. 4. Insert the lead cable and the connecting cable of the transmitter or receiver into the correct position and check that it is securely connected. The layout of the cable in the installation process of the el- evator light curtain is also very important. Improper instal- lation may lead to cable damage and to elevator failure. The followingprecautions shouldbeobservedduring installation: A. Determine the direction of the cable which connects the transmitter and receiver from the door to the roof of the car and fix it in place. B. Ensure that the connector between the transmitter or receiver and the connecting cable is securely connected. C. Ensure that no part of the cable can be caught during the whole process of closing and closing the car door. It is very important not to cut the cable or damage the structure of the cable connection. Doing so may reduce the shielding effect and cause electrical interference to the light curtain.
