The POS cannot be considered a static document. It must be continually updated and customized, if you really want to “establish safety”, in all its contents but in particular with regard to PPE. Finally, an example. For years, to prevent the risk of falling from heights, we have used PPE that guarantees safety in restraint. This solution requires, for correct use, to adjust the length of the rope from time to time according to need. It was deemed not good enough for our use. Va continuamente aggiornato e personalizzato, se veramente si vuole “fare sicurezza”, in tutti i suoi contenuti ma in particolare per quanto riguarda i DPI. Termino con un esempio. Da anni per prevenire il rischio di caduta dall’alto abbiamo utilizzato un DPI che garantisce la sicurezza in trattenuta. Questa soluzione richiede, per un uso corretto, di regolare di volta in volta la lunghezza della fune a secondo della necessità. È stato ritenuto non sufficientemente valido per il nostro utilizzo. Dopo un’attenta valutazione, si è valutato di utilizzare un dispositivo anticaduta a funzionamento retrattile ritenendolo più funzionale e quindi più sicuro: se ci si muove normalmente la fune, in modo automatico, si allunga se ci si allontana e si accorcia se ci si avvicina; se invece si effettua un movimento brusco, la fune si blocca.
