ANACAM MAGAZINE - n. 2 aprile | giugno 2023

Non mi resta che ringraziare gli associati e gli sponsor che hanno deciso di partecipare all’edizione di quest’anno dell’Assemblea e augurare a tutti una buona lettura. tioned in the directive, although there is an article referring generically to technical installations, this principle has already been partly transposed by Italian legislation which, in a subset of buildings, requires the installer to communicate the expected energy consumption. Energy efficiency is, therefore, a crucial issue and will become even more so, also for lifts. This is why Anacam has published the second edition of the book ‘Elevators, Energy, Environment’ by Giuseppe Iotti, which I warmly invite you to read because, compared to the first edition, it takes a closer look at the energy classification and environmental product declarations (EPDs) of lifts. And that is why this issue of ANACAM MAGAZINE is entirely dedicated to energy efficiency from various points of view, from BIM to company vehicle fleets. It is a very interesting issue thanks also to the contribution of several component manufacturers who have agreed to tell us what the market has to offer today, and how savings can be made on energy bills by working on existing systems. Remaining on the subject of ‘modernisation’, there are two that concern our association and that will be the protagonists of two moments of the 52nd National Assembly in Milano Marittima. There was a need to change the association’s statute so that the document that brings together the rules of Anacam is always in step with the times. In the course of this work, therefore, the attending associates will be called upon to deliberate on some changes to the Statute, including new rules for submitting membership applications and a new internal decision-making process. After six years, the website also change. With the need to technologically update the platform hosting the website, we have taken the opportunity to eliminate the signs of time with a more fluid, modern graphic layout, more focused on the information sections, with a more linear and effective navigation. In addition, a mini-site has been developed in English that will also host a series of content suitable for an international audience. In short, Anacam will always be at your fingertips. It only remains for me to thank the members and sponsors who decided to participate in this year’s edition of the Assembly, and to wish everyone a good reading. 6
