L’utilizzo crescente di dispositivi connessi come PC, smartphone e tablet, la diffusione del lavoro in modalità smart working, il trasferimento di dati su cloud e l’utilizzo di applicativi per la gestione dei processi e delle attività delle aziende ascensoristiche impongono di adottare misure appropriate per proteggere i dati e garantire la sicurezza operativa che, come vedremo, spesso dipende più dall’applicazione di buone pratiche e dalla formazione del personale piuttosto che dalla tecnologia in sé. Gli stessi ascensori, sempre più connessi, offrono grandi opportunità come la manutenzione predittiva. Tuttavia, questa connessione apre anche la porta a possibili rischi come accessi non autorizzati, manipolazioni e attacchi informatici.
