44, ndr). Un ulteriore supporto che abbiamo predisposto AT a time when generational turnover is crucial, Anacam has launched and consolidated Anacam Academy with the aim of stimulating young people’s interest in a highly specialised and constantly growing sector such as the lift industry. The initiative aims, in particular, to promote ad hoc paths to facilitate entry into the world of work, at member companies. The training of new generations is, in fact, a fundamental investment for the entire sector. Among the most important initiatives, participation in various trade fairs stands out. The journey began in 2023 with the National Job Orientation Fair ‘Job & Orienta’ in Verona and continued in 2024 with the Profession Fair at the Verona Chamber of Commerce, the Job Orientation and Training Fair ‘Progress’ in Lanciano, and a cognitive visit to the Salone dello Studente in Rome. These experiences allowed us to come into contact with numerous young people, who were surprised and intrigued to discover the opportunities of a hitherto virtually unknown profession. In addition, we had the opportunity to establish relationships with schools, training organisations, and institutions with the aim of expanding our network of collaborations. Our commitment was not limited to participation in trade fairs. Thanks to Anacam Academy, we were able to meet over 600 students from four different technical institutes. The direct comparison allowed us to better understand their expectations and perplexities, giving us valuable insights to refine our approach and communicate more effectively the opportunities offered by the profession. We have also updated the Academy section on the official Anacam website. This dynamic showcase includes a number of videos featuring interviews with young lift technicians, a video to raise awareness of the profession, and a series of tools designed for both member companies and interested young people. Our aim is not only to attract new talent but also to become an authoritative reference point for the entire industry. One of the resources we have created is a textbook for high schools, written by engineers Giuseppe Iotti and Paolo Tattoli, which delves into technical and regulatory aspects of the lift industry. This text is the first book designed specifically for high schools and represents an important step towards introducing the subject into the school curriculum (authors’ article on p. 44, ed.). A further support we prepared was the creation of a training programme to be proposed to schools. Aware of how much social media are part of young people’s daily lives today, we implemented an automated system that promotes a free basic course for lift technicians on these platforms. This innovative approach for our industry not only allows us to reach out to young people, but 43 L’INIZIATIVA MIRA A PROMUOVERE IL SETTORE ASCENSORISTICO TRA I GIOVANI ATTRAVERSO FIERE, INCONTRI CON GLI STUDENTI, RISORSE FORMATIVE E CAMPAGNE SUI SOCIAL The initiative aims to promote the lift sector among young people through trade fairs, meetings with students, training resources and social media campaigns
