L’ascensore è stato a lungo, e continua tuttora, ad essere un set speciale per film e serie tv. Questo luogo ristretto, simbolo di tensione, imbarazzo, claustrofobia, paura, ma anche intimità e desiderio, è stato scelto da molti registi come ambientazione ideale per raccontare storie di ogni genere. THE SHINING Iniziamo con un grande classico horror che ha fatto rabbrividire intere generazioni: The Shining, diretto da Stanley Kubrick nel 1980. In questo film, l’ascensore dell’Overlook Hotel diventa protagonista di una visione terrificante del piccolo Danny, figlio della coppia protagonista, che lo vede riversare un fiume di sangue nei corridoi.
