ANACAM MAGAZINE namento continuo. A tutti loro va il più sincethus respond to the needs of member companies with targeted and innovative strategies. This is not an easy goal to achieve, but our commitment is maximum and develops on several fronts. We have worked actively to promote the retrofitting of existing buildings, making institutions aware of the importance of adequate incentives to support the most fragile individuals in the removal of architectural barriers. At the same time, we have supported member companies in managing invoice discounting and credit assignment, helping them to make the most of the opportunities offered by tax breaks. Faced with a scenario that sees the cancellation of the Bonus 75% from 2026 and the progressive reduction of other forms of incentives, Anacam will continue to work, in collaboration with FIABA and other associations active in the world of disability, to restore a support measure that will allow the fundamental process of improving the accessibility of existing buildings to continue. Digitalisation and technological innovation have been among the priorities of our mandate. The lift sector is undergoing a transformation driven by Industry 4.0, predictive maintenance and integration with smart cities. Although we are aware that a large part of our existing lifts is outdated, we have tried to accompany companies along this path, promoting knowledge of new technologies and encouraging the adoption of digital tools capable of improving the efficiency and safety of connected installations, business management and work organisation. However, digitalisation also brings with it new vulnerabilities: companies, through the daily use of email, tablets for technicians and management software, can become targets of cyber attacks, putting at risk not only sensitive data but also business continuity. This is why we have emphasised the importance of cybersecurity so that innovation is always accompanied by adequate protection measures. At European level, through EFESME, we actively participate in all regulatory forums, giving a voice to SMEs in the lift industry and contributing to the definition of regulations, directives and technical standards that directly impact our sector. We have succeeded in expanding our family to around 500 members among maintenance companies and manufacturers and providers of components and services, creating specific working groups such as that of manufacturers and resellers of stairlifts. All this has been possible thanks to the tireless work of a cohesive Board of Directors, the cooperation with the regional Presidents, the contribution of each individual member, and the invaluable support of the Headquarters Director, staff and consultants. To all of them goes my sincerest thanks for having shared this journey, providing time, expertise and passion to make Anacam grow and strengthen its member companies. I end this second mandate with the knowledge that I leave an Association that is stronger, more representative, and better prepared to face future challenges. I am certain that the new management team will know how to con6 DI ANDREA CODEBÒ
