Un dato che conferma il valore, la vitalità e l’impegno di tutte le componenti della filiera rappresentate ANACAM has already drawn up a programme for the new year which, as always, will see our experts participating in various regional events. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to them for their professionalism and dedication. The “online courses” reserved for the preparation of our technicians to obtain the licence to maintain lifts and hoists from the prefectural examination commissions have been a great success. The first course has already finished, and another has started, which sold out in just a few days. We are already thinking of organising another one around April. The ANACAM Youth Group has been re-established, with over 40 members already and several meetings held. This group represents the future leadership of our Association and, from first impressions, I can see enthusiasm, ideas and skills that give me high expectations, in the belief that these young people can make a real contribution to the evolution and renewal of ANACAM if they are properly involved and valued. The partnership project between ANACAM and ELIS, with the support of Umana, dedicated to the recruitment and specialist training of new young people to be employed in our companies, has also been a huge success since its first event. As we know, the sector is experiencing a critical moment with regard to the necessary generational change of the workforce. Together with the “Vertical Growth” project, this project with ELIS certainly represents a major investment that ANACAM intends to continue in the coming years with regard to training in the field. Furthermore, the two main trade fairs in our sector, Interlift in Nuremberg and GEE in Milan, were held just one month apart (and this timing will certainly need to be reviewed). On both occasions, ANACAM was involved, as usual, both with a collective space that also hosted the stands of several member companies and, in the case of GEE, through various workshops and round tables that saw the contribution of our experts. The topics covered ranged from technological issues to increasingly topical ones related to training and accessibility, where our sector is increasingly considered a service of great social importance. During Interlift, the ANACAM stand also hosted celebrations for the 20th anniversary of EFESME, the Federation of European Elevator and Escalator Manufacturers, of which ANACAM is a founding member and in which it is particularly involved from an operational point of view. Beyond the ANACAM collective space, the presence of member companies, both as exhibitors and visitors, was significant at both fairs. This confirms the value, vitality and commitment of all the components of the supply chain represented by our association. Finally, the close and increasingly fruitful collaboration between ANACAM and its member companies, which manufacture components and provide services for lifts and are indispensable partners for installation and maintenance companies, a ‘competition’ will be organised.
