39 IN UN SETTORE SEGNATO DALLA CARENZA DI TECNICI SPECIALIZZATI E DALLA NECESSITÀ DI RIDURRE TEMPI ED ERRORI, IL PRECABLAGGIO SI AFFERMA COME UNA RISPOSTA CONCRETA PER MIGLIORARE L’EFFICIENZA, LA QUALITÀ INSTALLATIVA E L’AFFIDABILITÀ DELL’IMPIANTO In an industry characterised by a shortage of skilled technicians and the need to reduce installation times and errors, pre-wiring is emerging as a practical solution for improving efficiency, installation quality and system reliability Precablaggio elettrico: il valore della standardizzazione Electrical pre-wiring: the value of standardisation IN recent years, the lift sector has benefited from increased demand for new installations and modernisation projects, thanks to government incentives in the form of grants and new regulatory guidelines (see UNI 10411). Service providers have drawn on their experience and expertise to meet this demand within the required timeframes. However, the practical difficulty of finding specialised personnel on the labour market to supplement existing staff has limited some companies’ ability to increase the number of installations, and has also prevented some customers from benefiting from bonuses that have now expired. These considerations lead to a reassessment of how to optimise on-site work, particularly with regard to the modernisation of a lift’s electrical systems. For many years, lift engineers have adopted an approach based on purchasing replacement components separately and wiring them up on site. Once the control panel had been selected, the chief engineer would take on the task of connecting the various components in the machine room and the car. This approach appeared economically advantageous in terms of material costs alone. However, this assessment very often failed to take into account crucial factors such as lead times, the failure to optimise quantities, and errors or omissions when drawing up the list of materials to be purchased. All this without considering the time factor.
