ANACAM MAGAZINE - n. 3 luglio | settembre 2025

Come I would also like to thank those who have completed their term on the Board of Directors: Dante Pozzoni, who has always fascinated us with his insightful and never banal interventions, stimulating deep reflection, and Pino Febert, who with his ideas and availability has always been at the service of the Association. Finally, I would like to welcome the two new board members, Alessandra Recchia, who has been deeply involved in training in recent years, and Patrizia Ferretti, whose technical expertise and passion I am sure will be an added value to our future work. I offer both of them my sincere best wishes for success in their work. Having expressed my gratitude, it is natural to wonder what strategy Anacam intends to pursue in the near future for the benefit of its members. First and foremost will certainly be technical, commercial and strategic training to ensure that our companies and our workers are increasingly up to date and ready to face a market that, day after day - and I repeat day after day and no longer year after year - is becoming increasingly competitive. It is my personal belief that the era of “lowest price policy” is coming to an end. For years, this policy dominated the market in an attempt to attract yet another customer by focusing solely on the economic aspect, often at the expense of the quality of the service offered. Price remains a fundamental component in the context of healthy and necessary competition; today, however, in addition to the right price, customers increasingly demand a quality product and, above all, punctual, fast and professional service from our companies. Otherwise, it’s game over! Customers have rightly become much more demanding, not least because our sector is responsible for “social issues” related to accessibility and mobility, particularly for vulnerable people, the elderly and the disabled. It is therefore clear that only through cross-disciplinary training, capable of embracing all the fundamental aspects of our sector, will it be possible to provide the answers our customers expect, so that they continue to place their trust in us. Technical training will, of course, be a priority. It is remarkable how quickly the topics at the centre of our meetings have changed. In a short space of time, we have gone from discussing traditional topics to discussing predictive maintenance, IoT and cybersecurity, topics that only a few years ago seemed so distant from our sector. The last meeting marked a further step forward: the most debated topic was artificial intelligence applied to our world. Until recently, this seemed like science fiction, perceived by many as a monster to be kept at a distance, capable of destroying ethics and jobs. History teaches us that innovation cannot be stopped. As happened with the arrival of the internet, those who fail to embrace this change will lose competitiveness and efficiency both in the management of their business processes and in the use of diagnostic tools. The Association’s priorities include strengthening relations 6 PIERO MOSANGHINI
