74 openness. The clarity of the objectives helped: it was not a question of working less, but of working in a more orderly manner, removing the unnecessary and enhancing the essential. Of course, in a company like ours, availability is a key issue. That is why we have chosen to strengthen our on-call shifts, ensuring that the service is covered with unchanged standards, which in some cases have even improved. Those involved in shift work receive the recognition they deserve, and the system works thanks to a shared and transparent structure. We constantly monitor the results and continue to do so. This is not a symbolic gesture but a real organisational choice, which must be accompanied and refined. Some areas have taken a little longer to adapt, but the balance sheet so far is positive. There is also another aspect that is emerging strongly: attractiveness. In a context where finding and retaining talent is increasingly complex, offering a more modern and people-oriented work organisation has become a distinctive feature. Not only on the market, but also in internal perception: the sense of belonging is strengthened when people feel listened to, involved, and valued. This experience has also made our positioning as a company clearer. Without fanfare, but with consistency, we are building an identity that focuses on responsibility, quality of service, and attention to people. Employer branding, i.e. the way a company presents itself as an employer, today also depends on these signals: it is not a question of slogans, but of real choices, consistent with what is promised. We do not consider ourselves pioneers, nor do we claim to have found a formula that works for everyone. But we have seen that it is possible, even in a complex sector such as ours, to make room for new ideas without losing efficiency, and often even gaining it. However, none of this would have been possible without the path that AMA has taken over the years – and which continues today – based on a clear and shared vision, also inspired by its membership of the TREE Consortium. An evolutionary trajectory based on solid values, constant internal communication, the active involvement of people and a strong sense of belonging. Our employees believed in it, and this is what made the change possible: because when results are shared, it becomes natural to work together to create the conditions to achieve them. In this virtuous balance, the customer always remains at the centre: service quality, punctuality, reliability and the willingness to respond promptly to real needs are, for us, the direct result of an organisation that works, because the people who are part of it feel part of a larger project. For us, the short week is not just a contractual measure: it is a way of demonstrating that trust and organisation can go hand in hand. Monitoriamo costantemente i risultati e continuiamo a farlo.
