ANACAM MAGAZINE - n. 4 ottobre | dicembre 2025

THE re-establishment of the ANACAM Youth Group is a strong signal that speaks of the future, continuity and responsibility. It is also an opportunity to ask ourselves who today’s young people are and what role they will be called upon to play in leading the Association and the sector in the coming years. Having had the opportunity to be first president of the Youth Group and then national president of ANACAM, I know that this type of experience is not only associative, but also deeply human. During the two meetings that took place in Milan on 18 September 2025 and in Rome on 10 December 2025, I had the opportunity to meet them, listen to them and observe them closely. In Milan, at the first official meeting of the new Youth Group, more than thirty under-40s from all over Italy participated enthusiastically, demonstrating how strong the need was for a space for discussion dedicated to the younger generation. Key issues emerged, such as generational transition in SMEs, the value of relationships, the role of standardisation and the need to address change with concrete tools. In Rome, that initial contact developed into a more mature dialogue. The working groups active within ANACAM were presented and the young people were invited to consider concrete collaboration as a first step towards becoming involved in the life of the association. They listened to testimonials ranging from European standardisation with EFESME to the work of UNI, the training and growth opportunities offered by the Association, the role 54 ASSOCIAZIONE DI MICHELE MAZZARDA* Il confronto con i giovani di ANACAM durante l’incontro di Roma (10 dicembre 2025) / The discussion with ANACAM’s young professionals during the Rome meeting (10 December 2025)
