97 Bruno Venditti, a life dedicated to the lift industry AN INFLUENTIAL EXECUTIVE, A MAN OF VISION AND GENUINE RELATIONSHIPS, BRUNO VENDITTI LEFT A PROFOUND MARK ON THE WORLD OF INDUSTRY ASSOCIATIONS THERE are people who, more than others, manage to leave a deep mark not only for what they do, but for the way they do it. Bruno Venditti was one of these people. His commitment to Confartigianato Impianti, where he held leading positions up to the presidency, was instrumental in strengthening the role of small and medium-sized enterprises in a constantly evolving sector. He believed deeply in the value of craft businesses as places of skill, responsibility and dignity of work, and he always defended this idea with determination, even in the most complex moments of regulatory and technological transformation. This approach led him to look beyond national borders, contributing decisively to the creation of EFESME in 2005 and the establishment of a European representation of SMEs in the lift sector. His connection with ANACAM was constant and genuine. He always believed in the value of dialogue and collaboration to tackle shared challenges, becoming over time a point of reference, an authoritative voice capable of combining strategic vision and practicality. In a moving tribute published on the ANACAM website, Michele Mazzarda, national councillor and President of ANACAM Service, remembered Bruno not only as a manager but also as a friend. “It is difficult to find someone who has dedicated so much to our world as Bruno Venditti did. He was always available and kind, as well as being an attentive and affectionate husband and father. He was one of those men who once upon a time existed. He was a friend to me. He asked and told stories about life in our world, which he never abandoned, even after turning 90. He was one of the first to understand that, in addition to his own company, something needed to be done for our sector. He was among the first promoters of what would later become ANACAM and Confartigianato Impianti. His role in Confartigianato was undoubtedly that of an absolute and unrivalled leader in terms of commitment, dedication and contribution. Without his impetus, EFESME would never have been created. We have lost a great man, a friend who was always there for us. Goodbye Bruno.” These words powerfully convey the essence of a man who knew how to combine technical expertise, humanity and passion, always putting the good of the sector first. His passing leaves a great void, but also a legacy of ideas, consistency and responsibility, which lives on in the daily work of those who shared a part of their journey with him. Remembering Bruno Venditti means recognising the value of a life spent helping others, supporting businesses and shaping the future of an industry that owes him so much.
