Da quel giorno diventerà applicabile il Regolamento (UE) 2023/1230, destinato a sostituire la Direttiva 2006/42/CE e a introdurre un quadro normativo aggiornato rispetto all’evoluzione tecnologica degli ultimi anni. Per il settore ascensoristico il passaggio è particolarmente interessante. Gli ascensori continueranno a essere disciplinati dalla Direttiva 2014/33/UE, ma il nuovo Regolamento Macchine introduce concetti e requisiti che avranno inevitabilmente riflessi anche sul nostro settore, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la digitalizzazione, il software e la cybersecurity. Non si tratta quindi di una rivoluzione dell’intero sistema di conformità degli ascensori. Molti principi sono già familiari agli operatori del settore e vengono sostanzialmente confermati. Al tempo stesso, però, il nuovo Regolamento apre scenari nuovi e pone alcune domande alle quali sarà necessario dare risposte condivise. 20 January 2027 will be an important date for the machinery sector. From that date, Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 will apply, replacing Directive 2006/42/EC and introducing a regulatory framework updated to reflect the technological developments of recent years. For the lift sector, this transition is of particular interest. Lifts will continue to be governed by Directive 2014/33/EU, but the new Machinery Regulation introduces concepts and requirements that will inevitably have an impact on our sector too, particularly regarding digitalisation, software and cybersecurity. This is not, therefore, a revolution in the entire lift compliance system. Many principles are already familiar to industry professionals and are essentially confirmed.
