ANACAM MAGAZINE - n. 3 luglio | settembre 2026

tobre 2027. Show Dubai, organised by AFAG in collaboration with Elevator World, the second edition of which will be held from 23 to 25 March 2027 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.Attention then turned to India, where two major events are scheduled: the International Sourcing Exposition for Elevators & Escalators – ISEE 2026, in New Delhi from 3 to 5 December 2026, and Smart Lift & Mobility World 2028, in Mumbai from 17 to 19 February 2028. The round-table discussion also featured contributions from Alessandro Messeri and Filippo Stevan, who had just returned from two very different trade fair experiences. Messeri reported on its experience at ELEVEX Konya, held in Konya, Turkey, from 6 to 9 May 2026, where it took part free of charge as an exhibitor. This opportunity, reserved for ANACAM member companies, was made possible by the collaboration between EFESME and Elevator World. Messeri’s presence at the trade fair enabled the company to gain a closer insight into the local manufacturing sector, including through visits to companies in the industry and meetings aimed at exploring potential commercial and manufacturing partnerships. Stevan, meanwhile, spoke about the company’s participation in the World Elevator & Escalator Expo, held in Guangzhou, China, from 20 to 23 May 2026: an event featuring around 1,100 exhibitors spread across nine halls and a strong focus on solutions related to technology, automation and artificial intelligence. FIRST ROUND-TABLE DISCUSSION: SAFETY ON AND OFF THE BUILDING SITE The first round-table discussion took place on the afternoon of 18 June, moderated by Michele Mazzarda, and addressed the issue of safety, starting with the day-to-day work of technicians and contractors, before broadening the discussion to cover overall corporate risk management. The opening segment was dedicated to the campaign launched by ANACAM to mark European Elevator Safety Day, aimed at drawing attention to the safety of users and technicians. The campaign, which ran for a week across the main digital news channels, exceeded four million views, bringing an issue that directly affects technicians’ dayto-day work to the attention of a wider audience beyond the sector. The discussion then focused on the risks that companies are required to prevent and manage, ranging from accidents to sector-specific insurance cover. Cybersecurity and artificial intelligence raised the issue of new vulnerabilities linked to technological developments, whilst subcontracting and outsourcing brought attention back to contractual liabilities, the correct definition of tasks and adequate insurance cover. During the round-table discussion, Nicola Imbimbo also presented "NicTheElevatorGuy: il manuale del giovane ascensorista: Funi, sistemi di sospensione ed elementi adiacenti” (“NicTheElevatorGuy: The Young Lift Engineer’s Handbook: Cables, Suspension Systems and Associ61
